In Bruges

n Bruges was filmed on location; Bruges (pronounced “broozh”), the most well-preserved medieval city in the whole of Belgium, is a welcoming destination for travellers from all over the world. But for hit men Ray (Colin Farrell) and Ken (Brendan Gleeson), it could be their final destination; a difficult job has resulted in the pair being ordered right before Christmas by their London boss Harry (two-time Academy Award nominee Ralph Fiennes) to go and cool their heels in the storybook Flemish city for a couple of weeks. Very much out of place amidst the gothic architecture, canals, and cobbled streets, the two hit men fill their days living the lives of tourists. Ray, still haunted by the bloodshed in London, hates the place, while Ken, even as he keeps a fatherly eye on Ray’s often profanely funny exploits, finds his mind and soul being expanded by the beauty and serenity of the city. But the longer they stay waiting for Harry’s call, the more surreal their experience becomes, as they find themselves in weird encounters with locals, tourists, violent medieval art, a dwarf American actor (Jordan Prentice) shooting a European art film, Dutch prostitutes, and a potential romance for Ray in the form of Chloë (Clémence Poésy), who may have some dark secrets of her own. And when the call from Harry does finally come, Ken and Ray’s vacation becomes a life-and-death struggle of darkly comic proportions and surprisingly...

Rambo(2008)

Watch the movie now

Twenty years after the last film in the series, John Rambo (SYLVESTER STALLONE) has retreated to northern Thailand, where he's running a longboat on the Salween River. On the nearby Thai-Burma (Myanmar) border, the world's longest-running civil war, the Burmese-Karen conflict, rages into its 60th year. But Rambo, who lives a solitary, simple life in the mountains and jungles fishing and catching poisonous snakes to sell, has long given up fighting, even as medics, mercenaries, rebels and peace workers pass by on their way to the war-torn region.

That all changes when a group of human rights missionaries search out the "American river guide" John Rambo. When Sarah (JULIE BENZ) and Michael Bennett (PAUL SCHULZE) approach him, they explain that since last year's trek to the refugee camps, the Burmese military has laid landmines along the road, making it too dangerous for overland travel. They ask Rambo to guide them up the Salween and drop them off, so they can deliver medical supplies and food to the Karen tribe. After initially refusing to cross into Burma, Rambo takes them, dropping off Sarah, Michael and the aid workers...

Less than two weeks later, pastor Arthur Marsh (KEN HOWARD) finds Rambo and tells him the aid workers did not return and the embassies have not helped locate them. He tells Rambo he's mortgaged his home and raised money from his congregation to hire mercenaries to get the missionaries, who are being held captive by the Burmese army. Although the United States military trained him to be a lethal super soldier in Vietnam, decades later Rambo's reluctance for violence and conflict are palpable, his scars faded, yet visible. However, the lone warrior knows what he must do...

Sylvester Stallone writes, directs, produces and stars as John Rambo in RAMBO TO HELL AND BACK, filmed on location in and around Chiang Mai, Thailand. Also starring are Julie Benz ("Dexter"), Matthew Marsden (RESIDENT EVIL; EXTINCTION, BLACK HAWK DOWN), Graham McTavish (HBO's "Rome"), Rey Gallegos (AMERICAN WEDDING), Jake LaBotz (GHOST WORLD), Tim Kang ("Third Watch") and Paul Schulze ("The Sopranos"). Steep

A feature documentary about bold adventure, exquisite athleticism and the pursuit of a perfect moment on skis. It is the story of big mountain skiing, a sport that barely existed 35 years ago. It started in the 1970s in the mountains above Chamonix, France, where skiers began to attempt ski descents so extreme that they appeared almost suicidal. Men like Anselme Baud and Patrick Vallencant were inspired by the challenge of skiing where no one thought to ski before. Now, two generations later, some of the world’s greatest skiers pursue a sport where the prize is not winning, but simply experiencing the exhilaration of skiing and exploring big, wild, remote mountains. STEEP features many of the sport’s greatest athletes including Bill Briggs, Stefano De Benedetti, Eric Pehota, Glen Plake, Shane McConkey, Seth Morrison, Chris Davenport, Ingrid Backstrom and Andrew McLean. The man who is often described as the greatest big mountain skier of all, the late Doug Coombs, is the character at the center of STEEP. He died in a skiing accident in La Grave, France, in April, 2006, just days after being filmed for STEEP. His rich life and tragic death reveal the essential question at the heart of big mountain skiing: How does a skier weigh the risks versus the rewards of a sport where the possibility of dying is ever-present? STEEP was shot on High Definition and on film in Alaska, Wyoming, Canada, France...

As with the title CJ7, the earlier working titles, Yangtze River VII and Long River 7, referred to the Chinese manned space program. The mission of Shenzhou 6 was completed in 2006 and the real Shenzhou 7 is set to launch in September 2008.

The film will have a budget of $20 million US, and will be heavy on CG effects.

Chow plays a man who lives in a partly demolished house. He takes in a homeless boy (who is actually played by a girl, Xu Jiao). Whether the semi-demolished house and the homeless boy are on Earth, or on the alien planet is not clear. As Chow's character can't afford to buy a toy for the child, he finds a makeshift toy in the garbage and brings it back to his "son". The "toy" is actually a powerful alien device and the aliens are desperate to get it back.[4] Some rumours state that it is a "pet" rather than a "toy".

The reason Chow's character can't afford to buy the child a toy is because he is fired without pay from his part-time job as a construction worker. His boss is a contractor played by Lam Chi Chung.

Chow plays an astronaut who crashes his spacecraft on another planet. He befriends an android translator (played by Kitty Zhang) who can communicate with aliens.

Scenes include Chow's character being taken to hospital after seemingly plunging to his death; the adopted child crying, whilst Kitty Zhang's android character plays teacher; a birthday party for the child.

기담 The Last Breath

New Korean horror “Epitaph” will explores a scary story of a hospital morgue, serial killings and some rather strange doctors. With its intriguing plot, this movie is become one of the summer’s most highly anticipated horror film. Set in 1940’s Seoul during the long Japanese occupation, and locate against an attractive setting, rather than a sinister haunted house, it creates a uniquely eerie ambiance. Epitaph is also a debut film for the Jeong Brothers (Jeong Beom-sik and Jeong Sik), which create a refined, intelligent and surprisingly efficient gothic horror, along with well cast and acted.

The story has several flashbacks and time lag structure, but it does not devolve into a confusing mess, which is a huge relief. It’s generally divided into three segments. The first part begins when Dr. Park receives an old photo album from his 20’s in 1941, when mysterious things captured him and his colleagues in a modern hospital, these doctors witness weird events and learn that death is the sole healer. Park was bound by his parents to marry a girl, whom he never met, but he find himself attracted to a stunning looking young girl’s dead body, allegedly a victim of a failed double suicide, who happened to be his arranged marriage. The second segment is a tale of a little girl named Asako, she was carried into theBut after the incident, the awful ghost of her mother always haunting her, a doctor named Lee who convinced that this only an effect of her guilty feeling, attempts to cure her. On the third segment, it going across the previous two odd stories, a married couple doctors returned to the hospital from Tokyo and find themselves wrapped up in some serial murders of Japanese soldiers, and soon plunged into a world of confusion and fear when they discover something evil is lurking the hospital floors.
Although Epitaph does connect in the requisite Tale of Two Sisters-like "plot twist," it’s at least completed in a method that makes some sense in terms of the characters in question. Most essential of all, dissimilar with most Korean horror films lately, Epitaph is authentically terrifying, without resorting to the typical “worthless Sadako Clones” strategies. One sequence in particular, in which Asako's haunted mother, looking like a Barbie squished by a steamroller, gargles and screeches what may have been intended as a lullaby to her frightened-out-of-her-mind daughter, made it one of a scary scene ever. Epitaph, though not quite as magniloquently entertaining as Black House, nevertheless will make a significant contribution to rehabilitating K-horror's international reputation. With this exact, developed yet psychologically satisfying Gothic horror piece, the Jeong Brothers have effectively verified that they are talents to watch out for as potential directors.
